I am researching my family in Chittenden County, (Hinesburgh, Milton, Willston). I need to find information on Noah Spencer, his wife Persis and their daughter Amelia. Does anyone here have this line or know where I can go for more Information? Was there one church in the area at the time of 1790- 1850 that would have been more prominent? We are planning a trip to VT this summer. Hope to do ancestor searching while there. Hinesburgh ancestors were Joel Peck, b. 1764, (daughter Sarah Ann married Byron Alden in Hinesburgh 1827) and Rufus Alden. I am looking for info on my great grandfather, George Foster Drew, born about 1850. He died about 1932. He lived with his wife and daughter Hazel in Essex Jct. in the early 1900's. His granddaughter, Mrs Ira Charbonneau lived on West Street, Interment in the 1930's. He is buried in the family lot in the Colchester cemetary.Any info on George or the location of the cemetary would be appreciated.

I am seeking information on my ggreatparents parents were last to be known in Charlotte, Vt. Their names are Charles and Marie-Helene (Pare) Hebert. Charles father Ambroise died in Charlotte on 9 Jan,1892. I would like to find out if they also lived the rest of their life there, or moved elsewhere. Hi Phil The 1800 Census of Vermont has only one Alford--Ashley who lived in Swanton Vermont, about 30 miles North of Colchester. This family had four males under age 10. In reference to the ship's carpenter--Colchester is on Lake Champlain--Vermonts largest lake and many ship builders worked at Mallett's Bay in Colchester. I will keep my eye out for you.
