If you mean Franklin County, there are probably quite a few, but the one I am familiar with is connected to St. Patrick's Church in Fairfield, VT. I think that is also the name ot the cemetery, but am not sure. My great-great grandparents are buried there which is how I know of it.

All Saints Cemetery is the big Catholic Cemetery in Franklin, Vermont. Marlene Simmons of Sutton, Quebec has indexed the tombstones in this cemetery. I just got back wonderful transcriptions of my ancestors' tombstone inscriptions from her. She does charge for transcriptions and has a fee schedule on her web site.

I do not know from where this message originated but somebody must be
looking for a place called Crown Point. Besides the one given there is a
place in Indiana called Crown Point. It is famous for two reasons (1)
Dillenger escaped from jail there. and (2) for genealogists it was the place
to which young people eloped prior to WW! and for a time after. No I did not
elope but members of my family did marry in Crown Point, Indiana.

According to Esther Swift's Vermont Place Names the town of Mt. Tabor, in
Rutland Co., VT had a village within it formerly called Brooklyn. Mt. Tabor
is adjacent to Danby.
Having said that, there were Walkers early in Brookline. The town was
created in 1794 and a Thomas Walker w constable and collector. There is
also a reference to Franklin Walker.
At the time of the 1800 census, Thomas and Jesse Walker were heads of
household in Brookline. The

Hello
I am looking for the parents of Morris or Maurice TURCOTTE. He is listed in
the 1880, 1900 census in St. Albans, Vermont with his wife Delia Phelps and
children. He is then found in the 1910 and 1920 Pawtucket, RI census. The
census lists him as born in Canada. According to census dates, he was born
between 1848 - 1852.
If there is anyone on the list researching this family or has any resources
that could provide additional information, I would appreciate hearing from
you.

Thank You so much Cindy,
I was in the process of moving from Digest to List.
So Sorry it's taken so long to get back with a Thank You, for your reply.
The Lmail format will be much easier for me to work with I think...
I've searched the internet endlessly.
I guess I will have to just wait until warmer weather to make a trip, to Vermont.
Will look forward to it.
