1932 in Kennewick? Also, is there a library or archives that have tombstone
inscriptions. I looked on the web but only found one cemetery with Crowley

I am looking for James C. Crowley d. 19 Mar 1932 in Kennewick.

Enjoyed your note on Prosser names. I taught school in Paterson, WA in 1972,
knew lots of ranchers and towns people. I still see the Postmistresses! I
graduated from Kennewick High 1965 and have history there and Franklin Co.
I hear there is a Prosser Gen. Society recently formed. I would love a
contact for that.

Aren't these the names of roads around Prosser? King Tull, for instance, is
a road named for the King family at one end and the Tulls at the other. My
grandmother's sister Myrtle Bone married Fred Tull.
By the way, there is also Bone Road.

BILES-LONGMIRE WAGON TRAIN THROUGH YAKIMA, WASHINGTON
Looking for names from this train in 1853.
Yakima County is located in South Central Washington, on the East side of
the Cascade Mountains.
The Biles-Longmire wagon train came through Yakima Valley and made its way
over Naches Pass in 1853, the first wagon train to cross the Cascades north
of the Columbia River.
It was another eight years before permanent settlement began in the Yakima
Valley. The F. Mortimer THORP family is credited as being first.
