15. [Wakefield] Prison records [1]
Hi all, from New Zealand I am new to this list. I am wondering how to get prison records for House of Corrections Wakefield, as an ancestor of mine was there during the 1841 census. His name was James Lord, aged 30, born outside of Yorkshire. Thanks for any help on this. I am a long way from England and am not sure how to proceed.
