Picked up a copy of "Death Records 1892-1907, Kitsap County, Washington", Compiled by Minnie Hartson, Edited by Clarice and Ron Hertlein, 1982, at the Puget Sound Genealogical Society (Kitsap and North Mason Counties) today. Their website is at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~wapgsdgs/homepage.htm/ There is an index, which includes "Other Names appearing in death records", i.e. mother's maiden name. Will do lookups. Kathy
2. Pope & Talbot records [1]
Dear List Owner, I have been going through my grandmother's things and have found a "monthly time book" from the Pope & Talbot mill in Port Gamble for January and February of 1945. It is a list of the names of the men who worked at various positions in the mill. Would it be useful/appropriate to post these names to the list in case anyone could use this information? My grandmother used to keep the books at the mill, so this must be why she had the book. I am planning on taking it to the Port Gamble Museum
