Teresa, my brother's DNA results are not in yet, but we appear to descend
from a NC line. An unknown male Wall d. <1850 census; his widow Annie/Nancy
and sons William Hillary Wall, Gentry Wall and McNairy Wall were found in
Haywood County TN in 1850, along with her mother Mary Hopkins; both women b.

early 1870's with their mother and stepfather William Spa
Your Mike Wall could very well be of the same line as
Wilson WALL and his brother, Burgess WALL. Both men
moved to Indiana. Both lived in different counties in
Indiana but both died near the same town, Arcadia, in
Hamilton County, IN. Both lived in Surry Co., NC
before moving to Indiana! Wilson WALL was also known
as Wilson WALLS. If Mike was born in Surry County, NC,
then you need to find a male WALL desc of Mike's to
see if you can come up with a DNA line same as ours. I
am mailing in my DNA tomorrow....I
I sympathize with Donna who can't find her WALL line either. I finally got my Mike WALL death certificate (after two tries) and it lists his parents names as unknown! His wife provided the information. How could she not know his parents unless maybe he was an orphan! His death certificate states that he was born in Surry County NC in 1863 and was buried in Carthage ( Lamm's Grove Primitive Baptist Church) in 1944. He died of complications from measles. Does anyone have this Mike (Michael) WALL in their

The St. Andrews Parish Vestry Book, kept in the County Clerk's office, begins
with an entry in July, 1732. The first recorded vestry consisted of Henry

Most of Brunswick's troops were in the militia. Henry Embry was commissioned a
