This is just a test....I sent a posting to the list earlier today and
have not seen it as of yet. Does anyone know why it takes so long to
come up on the list? I can send an email to other list and it comes over
right away.

I made a trip to Coffee and Dale County, Alabama court houses and got the
following info. For old Coffee Co records go to Elba at the start, they have
been through three floods and are not in the best shape for abstracting, but
I have done my best. The Elba court house is open from 8 to 4:30.

Kathy,
I want to thank you for the great census records and for the " Wall
Paper."
You have been so much help and the paper gets larger each time and so
professionally done. I don't see how you print all of this and mail it
for the cost. I take several of these papers on my surnames and yours
is the best. Keep up the good work.
I hope more of the Wall folks start taking your paper, we might tie
more lines together with your paper and your eagle eye.

I have the following reference, from a book on Wake County, NC history
found in the Sons of the Amer. Rev. headquarters bldg here:
"Robertson families were living in eastern Wake County before the county
was created in 1771 out of Johnston county. They were scattered over an
area bound by Knightsdale, Eagle Rock, Wendell, Zebulon, and Rolesville,
with many carrying the Robertson name living in Mark's Creek Township.
John Robertson owned land next to a 200-acre tract which was granted to

Hi Florence,
I went to the Wall site and tried to post but it said I was a visit and
couldn't post. Is there a way to add my Wall info? Also can I add my Walls
inquiry too. I belong to the Wall family from Philadelphia, PA and they are an
illusive group!!! I have very little info on this side of my family and need all
the help I can get. My Walls are also from the Philadelphia area (Walls are
maternal (from England)and Wall (from Germany) is paternal.
I'd appreciate anything that you can do to h

I am a descendent of Shadrack Wall who was married to Sallie Clements.
One of their daughters was Georgia Ann Wall who was married to Mark Marsh.
They were my GGrand Parents. I have not had the opportunity to gather much
information about this line but am willing to share what little bit I do
have.

I have just finished with all of the transcription of the Wall family NC
census. All counties through 1850 and some counties beyond that. I
accidentally forgot 3 individuals in Wilkes County 1840 which I will try
and get by Friday. Other than that, it is finally done. Hope it is helpful.

I had originally thought, after getting the first info about the estate
records, that Martha Powell was a child, BUT, after going over the info I got
in Elba, Ala. on the estate of Jesse Wall and going by the article in
"Memorial Record of Alabama" on their son, Jesse Harrison Wall, we have:
1)they had eleven children
2}nine reached adulthood
3)seven were living in 1883 when the estate was final
4)five were living in 1893 when the article was written
=ones who died early would be James {Jesse' surviving
