Hi all,
Anyone on the list doing research on the WARREN family of Wake
County, NC? I have tried for several years to identify the family
of my grandmother Eula Belle Warren born March 1882 in Wake.
Her marriage license issued 5 August 1905 in Durham, NC stated
that her father was Henry Warren (living), her mother not listed
but shown as dead.
Her death certificate issued 12 Dec 1913 in Durham, NC, stated that
her father was Albert Warren of Wake County. Nothing was known about
her mother according to

My gggg grandmother, Penelope, Nellie, Nella, Ellen WARREN, (take your

for her. Anybody have a family for Nellie?
Nellie married Benjiman ROBINSON probably in Bath County, KY around
1833-4.
They resided in Bath and Pendleton Counties until I lose them after the
1880 census. I have not found wher

Does anyone have any more information on the family listed below.
Taylor family bible records of Pulaski County, Kentucky mention all 4
of William and Ann's children. There is no Ann mentioned in the bible
record. There is a James Taylor, who is mentioned in William Warren's
will, probated February, 1816 in Person County, North Carolina. Did
James Taylor marry one of William Warren's daughter?
Thanks, Cal

Hi Katy,
My husband was glad to hear the connection. The WARRENs are his family
and I am researching them as well as several other surnames. All of my
dates may not be exact. This info was given to us 20 years ago and has
not been updated since. We do have more coming from relatives in
Mississippi and it should arrive any day. If you will send me the info
you have I would be happy to send you what we learn when it arrives.
E-mail will be fine or I can send you our home address, if you like.

Hi I am trying to find William WARREN's parents I
was told that William descended from Richard Warren the Mayflower pilgrim

Sorry, Karen:
I'm afraid I didn't find it all that useful. Just for fun, I looked up Richard Warren
(1580-1627/28) of the Mayflower. I notice that the database doesn't give any primary
references (it would be nice to be able to check the facts). Also they had the
arrogance to list Richards baptismal date as 17 May 1881. No doubt that's a
Church of the Latter Day Saints baptismal date. And although I don't wish to disparage
their custom of baptising the dead, it does no-one any good to list 1881 as the
Hi Linda,
Above I have listed ship list url's for another group member. That might
possibly help. Maybe you would recognize a name. It's all pretty much
hit and miss at the computer, although, I must admit I have been lucky
in my searches. There are several European pages but, I'm not sure how
good they are. I have not searched extensively in that area yet. Maybe
they will point you in the right area, I'm not sure. If I see any more
links that may help I will let you know. Wish I knew more.

I came across a hundred-year-old list of geneologies at the library and one
of the listings under Warren included "Norton's History of Fitzwillam, NH"
page 758.
Does anybody know the contents (or how I could find them out)?
Specifically, I'm looking for the ancestors of Silas WARREN, b 1794
Fitwilliam NH.
Any suggestions?

Hi Vicky,
This is my first day in this group but, I have had really good luck on
the internet with other family surnames on both my father's and mother's
side. I basically started with just a few names and dates and went from
there. I have posted on several "query pages" and in the process found
one "cousin" that led me to a researcher that had been researching
"FAULKs" for 30 years. Also, found a "cousin" for my "FRANKLIN" family.
By using the search at http://www.gendex.com I was able to find

Hi everyone:
I received mail yesterday from a woman in Kansas who is looking for a Sarah
Warren who married a Lewis/Louis Rector. She answered a query from me and in
it told me she wasn't doing much research anymore as she is old and not in
the best of health.
I am in hopes that maybe someone on the list may be able to help her. I have
a Sarah Warren, but could not find anything on a Rector. She has Sarah
Warren born abt 1810 in NC died abt 1880 in MO. Parents are: Robert Warren
and Katie Stone. I
