1. [WATSON] Please read-from listowner [1]
There is lots of information going around about viruses and hoaxes. Please contact ME BEFORE you send anything to any of my lists so I can check it out first. This will cut down on unnecessary traffic and confusion about what is real and what is not. The KLEZ virus is real, the JDBGMGR.EXE. is NOT. Following the directions regarding the JDBGMGR.EXE. virus just eliminates a real file and could interfere with the operation of your PC. Please CHECK WITH ME FIRST. 4. Watsons of Pittsburgh area [1]
We are searching for relatives of my husband's father. He was James Norman Watson born in the Pittsburgh area in 1918. He died while on active duty in WW II (an army pilot). He had been wounded and sent back to a VA hosp in Pittsburgh. A friend took him to a Steelers game and they were riding in a convertible when they hit tracks and he was thrown out as his arm was so badly injured that he could not hold on. That was 6 weeks before his only child, James Rogers Watson (my husb) was born. Any info would be g

7. WATSON [1]
To The List Operator: I would personally appreciate it if you would include WATSON in the subject line because so many of us are purging junk before reading important mail such as genealogy email list information. Many times I too have almost deleted something that ended up being something on my Watson's. Thanks for listening! Mary Watson Hiber

Just a little contribution, William Eric Watson

Genealogical Society is indexing the VA death records from microfilm of the local county records as a volunteer project. The records are from 1853 to 1896. Only a few counties have been done so far. Bedford County, VA is one that has been done. I did a search for WATSON and found at least 75 names. Some were from other parts of the state. The index lists the person who died, his parents

19. RE: Rebecca Watson? [1]
Hello, I just joined this group, and hope someone can help me, with my Watson ancestor. Her name was Rebecca Watson, and she was born in 1783 in Greene Co. Ga. She married a James B. Woodall Jr. in 1801 in Greene Co. Ga. I have a strong feeling, that she belongs to some Watsons that were in Va., and left there, and went to Ga. I know there was a Douglas Watson in this group. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much! Becky Carden, rec@hiwaay.net
