1. Re: [WEBB] WEBB DNA UPDATE: [1]
List Admin, I'm not trying to be nasty at all. I was trying help these people find the site and on my second post, make light of the fact that so many people look at something but don't see it. In all honesty, it was an attempt to wake them up. You know, like those road signs that are purposely misspelled. I'm just sorry I didn't have a way to write the text upside down. 2. Re: [WEBB] WEBB DNA UPDATE: [1]
I can get to the webpage no matter whether I use "www." or not, or capitalize or not -- maybe that's because I'm the "page owner." I really don't know. I do apologize to everyone for the difficulties! Sometimes I want to CHOKE AOL! LOL But do try the capitalization -- that seemed to make a difference for my husband when he tried from our other server. Try this: www.hometown.aol.com/awnrdc/DNAPage.html Anne

9. Re: [WEBB] William Douglas Webb and Indian Ancestry. [1]
For those who believe they might have American Indian ancestry, it is a sure bet if you have a tooth structure common to Asians and American Indians alike. The structure is capable of being inherited by children of mixed marriages. Your dentist should be able to tell you if you have the structures. But simply put, your front teeth (incisors) will be thickened at gum level, there will be pronounced shelves on the backs of the pre-incisors, and sometimes a kind of tab on certain molars. My family s

Thanks KimmyAnn! Claire -- I understand some WEBBs went to Canada, which is one reason we welcome WEBBS from all over to participate. I'm simply amazed at the travelling that was done when it was so HARD to do! Anne

17. [WEBB] John WEBBs will 1711 [1]
Hi List This is a copy of John Webb's will of 1711. I have copied it exactly as it was (there is very little punctuation) and where I couldn't read a word, I left a space. Otherwise it was pretty readable, although I did put question marks following two names, which I wasn't sure of. I still find it odd that no children are mentioned except his daughter Susanna. Also it is long. Kathryn TRANSCRIPTION OF THE WILL OF JOHN WEBB I John Webb of the city of Philadelphia in the Province of Pennsylvania bei

This was the Webb line from the Northern states wasn't it? L. Lynn was from this Northern Webb/Boone line??? I have been told that William Micajab Webb was the beginning of the Webb line in the South. Is this correct? I am really a bit confused (understatement) about the DNA project. My Great Grandmother on my Maternal Grandfather's side is Eliza Webb (married a Mountcastle). Would this fit the criteria, or is it all no go because it was my mother's father's mother? My line is from VA/WV. Thanks. THANKS FOR THE 2 PREVIOUS REPLIES TO MY REQUEST from Dianne and Delphia DIANE: I was happy to find someone looking into 2 of my family lines, Ballew and Webb! This is an FYI to all fellow Texas researchers. Senate Bill 861 signed by Governor Rick Perry on June 20th extended the age limit on birth records for open records request from 50 to 75. It goes into effect on September 1, 2003. I imagine the vital statistics office will seeing an influx of requests until then requesting records because I know I will for those ancestors that I had been putting off getting a copy of their birth certificate
