Betty, I wonder if this could be the Micajah webb, father of Warren Webb,
father of George Washington Webb and brothers Ruffin and Edmond who came and
owned large plantations in Alabama?
George Washington Webb was g-grandfather and his first genealogy I have is
Elizabeth Webb,Isle of Wright Va. Warren Webb married Cidney Jane Walton and
this is GWW parents. Micajah was father of warren.
Charles is still being given to sons in this Webb family.

Hello, we have a George Washington Webb in Clinton Cemetery in Hunt County
TX, his stone reads 1872,1936, on census we find he was born Virginia.

That was Joe Friday and Jack Webb was Jack Webb
I just recently had a break in my brick wall (Henry Peter WEBB b. 1869 MN)
with two Williams (one b. ca 1845, the other b.. ca 1816, both in DE). I
assume both middle initials to be W as in the 1880 census William is listed
as Jr. Jr's wife was an Emily S _____ (b. ca 1848, IA), and Sr's wife was
Rachel P _______ ( b. ca 1815, PA).
Any help I could get on this family will be greatly appreciated and thank
you in advance.
Bob

This was posted at the Bullitt Co. KY website. I wanted to make sure the
Webb listers got a chance to see it.

Mine is John M. Webb, b-1820 McMinn Co. TN, and I cant find his parents or
brothers and sisters, it was his youngest son Jacob L. Webb that went to OR,
but John M.Webb moved his family to Meigs Co. TN sometime between 1840 (last
time I can find him in that area) and 1860.
Does any of that ring a bell?

Richard, a Webb injury can go into the < about part> of the person in the
family tree, I had a uncle who died, dont we also like to know why? We never
knew, till one day I was talking to an old Aunt 90 years old, we were
talking about the uncle, turns out she knew and told us he slipped and
drowned face down in the tide, he was a warden of fish and game, we asked
here why she did not tell us before, she said she did not think we were
interested because no one talked about him or ask what happened to him.
Does anyone know if the Southern branch of the Webb family that arrived in Virginia in the early 1600's was all part of the Warwickshire/Stratford-upon-Avon Webb family?
I have seen it written somewhere that William Micajah Webb was part of that family and he was born in England and died in Virginia......and all the Virginia line of Webb's were related to this line. They were in Essex Co., Virginia and migrated to other parts of Virginia and to North Carolina and beyond. This was in the late 1600's and t
McMinn Co TN and Meigs Co. TN are in east Tennessee.

We have been searching for information on an Isaac Webb b. about 1802 in
NC (some say TN). He married a Sarah Ann ? (possibly West) b. about
1803 in VA and she d. Feb. 10, 1851 in Camden Co., MO. Isaac and
Sarah were married about 1820 in ???
In 1830 they are living in Pulaski Co., MO, and in 1840. In about 1849
while on a float trip to St. Louis, Isaac supposedly died from cholera.
Exactly when and where we do not know. In 1850 Sarah and children are
in the Camden Co. census, although
