George Washington HEATH married Sarah STICE December 18, 1878. She was 25
years old, he was 20. Her mother was born in Grayson County, KY. George
Washington HEATH and his parent were born in Edmonson County, KY.
Does anyone know who Sarah STICE parents were? Or who were the parents of
George Washington HEATH?
Is anyone working on this line?
Thanks,

Pauline Stubbs (Icollmugs@aol.com) recently sent me some information about a
well-known medical condition that results in blue faces. While this list is
not about medical problems, I think that this phenomenon may explain some of
the "Blue Head" nicknames of our ancestors.

Does anyone know anything about the WILLIN family? There were two Willin
brothers, Day Willin and Thomas Willin who came to Kentucky ca 1790. They
were from Kent County Delaware and/or Somerset County MD.
Day Willin probably brought wife Ann BEAUCHAMP (a widow of Unknown BERRY).
She had children (Morris BERRY, Grace, and others).
I think they were all first in Washington County KY area (Larue, Mercer?).
Morris BERRY's descendants were in Hardin County later.
Where did Morris' mother Nancy and her WILLIN

Lucy,
I can field part of this one, at least according to what I have in my
database. Although, I have no knowledge of why he was called "Bluehead, he
owned, by 1819, the land close to Brownsville on the north bank of the Green
River, later to be called the Gillis VINCENT farm.
William Thomas "Bluehead" SKAGGS was born 7 Sep 1797, the son of Jeremiah

Lucy, I may be all wet, but I think the long hunters were a group of men who
came into Kentucky from VA several years ahead of the early settlers, and they
stayed in KY hunting for over a year or more, (a long time) thus "long"
hunters.
