I'm looking for descendents of men who served in the 5th Illinois Cavalry during the Civil War. Many of the soldiers moved into Nebraska in the 1870s. hi, I'm new to the list. Could someone please look up a 1930 census record for my Grandpa & his family. Jerry William Vaughan born 13 Apr 1908 in Halls, Buchanan County, Missouri, USA he married Belle Stogdill. Belle died in child birth. I don't know anything else about her or her family. I know Jerry was widowed 19 Dec 1941 noted on his U.S. World War II Army Enlistment Records, 1938-1946 in Fort Crook, Nebraska.
