2. [WIGRANT] Wisconsin newspaper URL? [1]
Hi, everyone. A year or more ago I posted to the board/list a URL for a Wisconsin-related search engine that accessed scans of old newspaper articles. In the interim, I've changed computers, lost the URL (and possibly my mind), and can't remember the name of the project. It's something like Wisconsin History Library something something ... If any of you have it in your favorites or can point me to it, I would be most grateful. ==================== Mary Thiele Fobian Independent Writer/Editor

5. [WIGRANT] How far will you go? [1]
I recieved this from a mailing list that sends "Erational News"-- How far will you go to get your research information? Robert Palmer was arrested and charged with burglary in Georgia, after he removed a windowpane and entered the residence of Joseph Palmer. When the police detained him, he stated that he hadn't planned to rob the place; he was just curious as to whether he and Joseph Palmer were related.

7. [WIGRANT] The two William Winney Familys of Grant County [1]
Okay, there are two William H. Winney family's from Grant County, WI. One is the family of my GGGrandfather and the other, I understand, is the family of his cousin (don't have verification of this). In one of the family's, not my GGGrandfather's, for some reason the parents named several of their kids the same name as my GGGrandfather's kids! What follows is the 1880 Census record of the Wm. H. Winney family, NOT my GGGrandfather. I am hoping that someone will be able to tell me more about this famil
