I'm looking for relatives of Lee Linus Stephenson b. 8/1/1897 in Green County to William Linus Stephenson and Maude (House), d. 3/24/1983 in California, but sent back to Greenwood Cemetery of Brodhead, where his parents and grandparents (Charles Johnson Stephenson and Hester Maria [Hare]) are also buried. I received a death certificate in the mail today and it turned out to be the
wrong person. Would be glad to send it to a family member for just what it
cost me. The name of the deceased was Julia D. Clarke and she was the wife of
Jacob Clarke.

this was from a Sept. 27, 1900 paper: Mrs. Thomas Lloyd died last evening
at the home of her granddaughter Mrs. S.A. Luce of this city. arrangements
for the hour of the funeral had not been made as we go to press.
Then in the Oct. 4 issue is the following, but her name was not Mary
Mrs. Jane Lloyd was born in Llanbister, Radnorshire, Wales on Feb. 10, 1818
and died Sept. 26, 1900 aged 82 years, 7 months and 16 days. In 1860 she
came to America with her husband and family consisting of ten children. I

The Green County Genealogical Society will be meeting on August 5th for a short business meeting at 10 am at the Monroe Public Library, 915 16th Av, Monroe.
