Sorry for the inconvenience!
Also note that there is a Rebecca Simpson a few houses up from the William
Wellbanks in Williamson Co. TN in 1830. I don't know if it means anything
or not to anyone still debating the who was "William" thread from last year
that dealt with Samuel Simpson and land records in Wilkes Co. SC.
Here is a partial thread for a refresher:
"... Samuel Simpson and William
Wilbanks (who sold the land in Wilkes) were extremely close friends.
Samuel Simpson died in 1797 and William became the executor of his estate.
Hosea "Henry" A. Wilbanks, son of Major and Martha B. (--?--) Wilbanks, was born circa 1828 in Pickens District, South Carolina.
Hosea Wilbanks married Martha M. Green circa 1852 in Cherokee County, Georgia. Martha was born circa 1829 in South Carolina.
In the 1860 census, Hosea A. Willbanks and family are found in Canton District, Cherokee County, Georgia with their post office in Canton. This record is dated June 5th and is found on page 16 (674), dwelling number 114, family number 121. Hos
Also, of interest... The other person on the Guardianship Bond for Susannah
and Marshall's children was a John Simpson. Could this be the same branch
of the Simpsons mixing with the Wilbanks?

Some new information that might not support your theory that your William N.
Wilbanks could of been one of Marshall and Susannah Wilbanks' missing two
sons.
Susannah was found in Williamson Co. TN in 1830 (p. 269.) along with a
William Wellbanks on page 237. As you may know, Maury Co. borders
Williamson Co. just to the south and before 1807 was actually part of
Willaimson Co. There is an equally likely theory that the William

Ok i was just looking through the census to see if i could find the Miles
Wilbanks that is in Marshall County, Alabama in the 1870 census and they had the
daughters name in common. I was thinking that maybe my Samuel (sanford)
Willbanks may have had something in commom with him since his wife Laura Cabaniss
and her family lived clse to Miles Wilbanks in 1870 and Samuel Willbanks married
in Marshall County, Alabama in 1873.
Thanks for info
