My grandfather and great grandfather were from Vermont; however, I do not know what area. This is their information. If any connection, I would appreciate hearing. George Willey, born Vermont about 1832. Died Alpena, MI., 1888. His son, my grandfather, Russel Willey, aka Willie, born Vermont 9/4/1854. By age 24 was living in Long Rapids, MI. and then other areas of UP, MI. Married Mary Savage probably in 1890 in MI.

Researching 'Fanny' Willey m) 1834 to Joseph TILTON in Portsmouth, NH. I am assuming (with all that it implies) that she was born about 1814. She had one son that I know of, Charles Edward b) 10 Nov 1838 in Exeter. He lived there all his life. I have found no other records for her or Joseph.
