Anna and Ann,
I believe the difficulty here is that Anna is a generation back. By
my notes, the Ann who md Sir George Waldegrave of Smallbridge (and
2nd, Sir Thomas Jermyn of Rushbrook) was the daughter of Sir Robert
Drury Sr. and Ann Calthorpe. This Ann (Drury>>Waldegrave>>Jermyn) was
the sister of Sir Robert Drury Jr. (of Edgerly) who md Elizabeth
Brudenell... and whose daughter, Ann, md. Robert Woodlief.
The marriage of Ann Drury and Robert Woodlief is recorded in the
register of Chalfont St Peter, Bu

"ROBERT WOODLIFFE was born about 1507 and died on 7 January 1592/3. He
married, first, JANE SMITH, daughter and heir of Robert Smith, but she died
without issue. Robert Woodliffe married, second, at Chalfont St. Peter, co.
Buckingham, on 25 November 1577, ANNE DRURY, daughter of Sir Robert Drury of
Hedgerley, co. Buckingham, and his wife Elizabeth (Brudenell). She survived him and
