Thanks Bettye, I have but am running into a dead end. There are only 2 James Woodruff (5yo) in 1910 census from Georgia. Neither has a middle initial of A. Need to find a marriage license or something. Thanks for your help. Looking for family of William Woodruff and wife Annie Larkin Woodruff. William born about 1845 in Wisconsin, Annie born about 1850 in NewYork. William and Annie in Cheyenne Wyoming in 1880 and had children born-Martin Harry born about 1874, William F. born about 1876, Charles F. born about 1878. The family lived in Minneapolis around 1916-a George D. Woodruff and John Woodruff listed, also Alice J. Woodruff.

This seems like a really good thing - but I am researching the Woodruff's for my female cousin. She was an only child and her father's mother died shortly after he was born and the kids were all adopted. Thank you very much. Ray Ottis' daughter is pretty fuzzy about it - she said she thinks her real grandfather was BEB Woodruff and lived in Marion Co., Ind and was a painter. The only one fitting that description is Benn and I only found him in 1900 - can't find him anyplace else.
