I just joined this group and wanted to put the information out there that I have, which is not much. The oldest Wright I have was from Ireland he was James Wright, no dates. He fathered Samuel Wright who lived in New York, probably around the Bronx. Samuel married Ada Schott, possibly in the late 1800's. They had 4 children, Arthur, born in 1916, and Robert, and James, and Dorthy. Arthur was my grandfather, he married Rita Carney in 1936 and they had a son in 1937 (my father), James Arthur Wright, they live
