Hi All,
Looking for information on Nathaniel Wright, supposedly from France (Has anyone ever heard of a Wright family from France?). He married Hannah WELDING in 1761 in Philadelphia, PA. They had a least one son named Nathaniel, born 1778 in Philadelphia, PA, married Phoebe FRAZER in 1796. They moved on to Miami County, OH, where the Wright family still is today along with generation after generation of Nathan Wrights-> born in 1808, 1842, (Grevy Nathan) 1884, and 1905.

Don maintains a very large database of Wright's, and has all the
descendants of the Kelvedon Wright's in the book, plus a LOT more (more

a lot more).
I am new to the list and wondered if anyone might have any clues about my Wright family (or one of my Wright families anyway).
I have Catherine Wright who was born about 1798 in North Carolina. She married in 1816 in Cumberland County, KY to John Whitaker. They moved from Cumberland County, KY to Montgomery County, IN about 1835. John Whitaker died suddenly in Montgomery County, IN in 1838.
I believe that Catherine Wright's parents may have been:

I'm still searching for the parents of Benjamin Wright, Guilford CT,

So far I haven't encountered any Thomas Wright's in my research, nor any of
the children you listed in my time frame of interest. But I will keep your
message on file, and will let you know if anything turns up.
