Terri, this will be hard. My grandfather, Charles W. Fisher, was born in
Buffalo, WVA
abt. 1883 to 1885. I have no names for his parents. Sometime after he was
born
they must have moved to either Ohio or KY. Charles had 2 sisters, Frances
Faye
and Molly. This is all the info that I have. MJ
Does anyone have information on any Kessinger/Cassinger families from Putnam
County or surrounding counties? Homer Cassinger/Kessinger was born in Red
House in 1920. Wilson Kessinger died in Putnam County in 1928. Wilson was
the son of Valentine. Any help on the surname Kessinger/Cassinger would be
greatly appreciated. Gini gininichols@charter.net
Does anyone on the list have information on the family of Daniel Windle? He
and his family lived in Red House West Virginia at the time of the 1920
census. His wife's name was probably Fannie. He had a daughter named
Mildred and a son named James and possibly other children. Any help would
be appreciated. Thanks Gini gininichols@charter.net

Does anyone know anything about this MASON family? The children, William, Martha, Thomas, Ella, James, and John, are the same names as those of my g-grandfather, James Norman MASON, whose parents apparently were born in Virginia according to later census records. I find this family again on the 1880 census minus the children. The family purportedly went to Alabama after the Civil War; I cannot find them in Alabama or Virginia/West Virginia until 1880. This is my brick wall and I need to break it down so
