I am concerned about the poor quality of messages posted here.
Any good name search requires a NAME ... a PLACE ... and a DATE.
It does no good to post a message looking for NANCY WILSON without some
indication of where Nancy was and what timeframe. My wife was Nancy
Wilson ... I have a cousin that is Nancy Wilson ... and there is a
popular singer named Nancy Wilson.
I have done a lot of research on WILSON lines but I don't bother to
respond to a message that doesn't indicate that the originator has put

These two brothers are as far back as we have been able to document.

Nope! The only thing I have left to offer are the given names common in the
family, which might possibly indicate a connection if you see them repeated
anywhere -- Peter, Margaret, Agnes, Robert/Roberta, James, John, Thomas
(Scottish, biblical, and COMMON). Hoping to have something useful
(exciting?) to go on with when I receive the death certificate from Los
Angeles County for Robert Thomas (who ended up there because he went to live
with his second wife's daughter when he was in his 70s). To date, nothing
Dear List:
I have just received some information about a possible link to my grandfather, Edward Preston WILSON. We don't know his parents or any family members and only know that he was born in Kentucky around 9/1874-5, moved from ? to Hannibal, MO about 1903 where he worked for the DuPont de Nemours plant for 25 years until it closed in 1932. He died on 9/29/1933 from a ruptured appendix. He had the front part of one of his feet missing because of an accident of some kind in his youth. His wife was An

I know there are others of you that are tired of having non-Wilson junk come
through this list, but I am too frustrated to keep quiet any longer, so I'll
use up a bit of your space. Maybe there would be a LOT fewer unsubscribes if
we didn't have to see the same message numerous times. I got the current
message about Nancy Wilson no fewer than 4 times on 3 different days! I keep
hoping I'll find a link one day, but the volume of trash and repititions that
are sent along with this list takes up a lot

early days of my research I did so and created a "digest" for my own sorting
process. I would like to offer some of this with the understanding that
some of the information may be incomplete. BUT if any of it can point
someone else in the right direction, I am willing to share, however
inadequate. We are always reminded to verify, check sources.
Unfortunately, there were times when I did not tak
