I'm looking for a John Wilson. I found him in Fair River, Lawrence County,
Mississippi for the first time in 1822 on a tax list. He married a Mary Jane
Newman in 1824 in Lawrence Co. Ms. John Wilson appeared on a will of Benjamin
Wilson in Lawrence co. Ms. in the 1830's I could not find him on a census in
1830, but the Pike Co. Ms. list is missing for that year and I think he and
Mary Jane were living there. A son Rodolphus Wilson was born in 1838 to John
and Mary Jane Wilson. In the 1840 census
Solomon Wilson and Elizabeth and daughter Rebecca who married James Dillon. I am looking for information concerning James parents and their children Elizabeth and Robert Dillon, Also any information on other children of the Wilsons.
I am looking for these associated names in hopes of tying up loose ends with
my Wilson/Chinn line. I have Annie E. Stewart b. 1837 Illinois m. abt. 1861
to John Montgomery Crebs. They had 6 children. Their daughter Anna Crebs
b. 1872 m. Roy Eldon Pearce. This is all I have.
