My Revolutionary War William Young is buried in Whitlock, Henry County, Tennessee. Whitlock is just outside of Paris, TN and is basically nothing more than just a "whistle stop" on the railroad lines now. In his pension papers, it states that he was a minuteman in North Carolina and that he had an uncle William Young that also served in NC but lived in a different part of Tennessee at the time the pension papers were prepared. Dear listmembers. I am looking for my Young line that settled in Trigg Co by 1810. It was Christian at that time. They didn't move, the county divided. I cannot find any buriels for any of the earlier settlers except for Ferdinand Young and his wife. William Young arrived in Christian Co Ky about 1790 from Chester Co., SC. He brought with him several brothers, John, James, Thomas, Ferdinand and maybe several more.
