My Revolutionary War William Young is buried in Whitlock, Henry County,
Tennessee. Whitlock is just outside of Paris, TN and is basically
nothing more than just a "whistle stop" on the railroad lines now. In
his pension papers, it states that he was a minuteman in North Carolina
and that he had an uncle William Young that also served in NC but lived
in a different part of Tennessee at the time the pension papers were
prepared. There is an article from an old newspaper titled "Dots and
Dashes" that states

JOHN HENRYYOUNG, son of John Young and Jane Grinter, was probably born in
Prince Edward County, Virginia in 1816. He died September 1, 1878 near Adrian,
Bates County, Missouri, at 62 years of age. His was buried at the Crescent
Hill Cemetery in Bates County, Missouri.
He married three times. He married MARGARET EWING Butler County,
Kentucky, July 25, 1836 . He married SUSAN BRITT Logan County, Kentucky, December 7,

I am looking for my Young line that settled in Trigg Co by 1810. It
was Christian at that time. They didn't move, the county divided. I cannot
find any buriels for any of the earlier settlers except for Ferdinand Young and
his wife. What happened to William Young, who died in 1926 His son William
Young who died in 1845, their wives, their infant deaths and all of siblings of
both Williams. There should be a 2 Johns, 2 Thomas' , another some James'
Ferdinand or Vardy a
William Young arrived in Christian Co Ky about 1790 from Chester Co., SC. He
brought with him several brothers, John, James, Thomas, Ferdinand and maybe
several more. He also brought with him a family of 10+ children plus wives
and husbands of some of those children. The Trigg Co., History books refer to a
"Young compound" where church services were held. William Young was a
minister of the gospel. When Trigg Co was formed, the family land on Little Creek
ended up in Trigg. My line decends from Wi
