<title>[ABERCROMBIE] Are there any ABERCROMBIE (American desc) DNA studies</title>
<link>http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/ABERCROMBIE/2008-05/1209665056</link>
<description>I have just located the last living male ABERCROMBIE descendant of JOHN &#x3C;BR&#x3E;JOSEPH ABERCROMBIE, SR. &#x26; SARAH DE NORMANDIE, through their son BRIG. GEN. JOHN &#x3C;BR&#x3E;JOSEPH ABERCROMBIE, JR., and wondered if there are any DNA studies ongoing in &#x3C;BR&#x3E;the US trying to find out how they all descend? All the other descendants I &#x3C;BR&#x3E;have found from this couple came down through female lines, except this one. &#x3C;BR&#x3E; &#x3C;BR&#x3E; &#x3C;BR&#x3E;Jacqueline Sleeper Russell&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Website:_ &#x3C;BR&#x3E;http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=SRCH&#x26;db=jacquelinesr&#x26;surname=A_ &#x3C;BR&#x3E;(http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=SRCH&#x26;db=jacquelinesr&#x26;surname=A) &#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;**************Need a new ride? <title>[ABERCROMBIE] London&#x27;s Criminal Court - 1674-1913</title>

<description>We don&#x27;t often talk about Abercrombie folks across the pond - this is &#x3C;BR&#x3E;an exception:&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;This came across a county list yesterday - pretty neat:&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;I was sent this link to thousands of records that London&#x27;s famous Old &#x3C;BR&#x3E;Bailey prison has just put online. Interesting to say the least. &#x3C;BR&#x3E;Since many early settlers were transportees, perhaps a relative will &#x3C;BR&#x3E;be found (:&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;http://www.oldbaileyonline.org.uk/&#x3C;BR&#x3E;The Proceedings of the Old Bailey, 1674-1913&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;A fully searchable edition of the largest body of texts detailing the&#x3C;BR&#x3E;lives of non-elite people ever published, containing 197,745 criminal&#x3C;BR&#x3E;trials held at London&#x27;s central criminal court.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Due to high demand, the site is currently running slowly and some&#x3C;BR&#x3E;services may be temporarily unavailable. <title>[ABERCROMBIE] Tree Growth</title>
<link>http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/ABERCROMBIE/2008-03/1206011594</link>
<description>Family trees grow by many methods.  Most grow naturally, ring after ring&#x3C;BR&#x3E;being added down through the generations.  A son or daughter marries and&#x3C;BR&#x3E;new branches are formed to start their own little tree which will over&#x3C;BR&#x3E;time become their root tree.  Other branches of the big family tree will&#x3C;BR&#x3E;continue growth until one branch comes to a dead end.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Sometimes though trees grow by graphing in new sprouts, which help the big&#x3C;BR&#x3E;tree grow in new and different ways adding a new flavor to the bigger&#x3C;BR&#x3E;tree.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;My what&#x27;s it all about, is just this latter case.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;http://home.highertech.net/~tstowell/tian.htm&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;------------------------------------------------------via webmail----&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Tim Stowell&#x3C;BR&#x3E;tstowell@chattanooga.net&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;
