Bonnie , my great uncle died in a sawmill accident in AR. Since he died in
1914 when the state began to require death certificates, I ordered his DC
and found his injuries listed. I checked the AR Death Index and found a
William E. Hale who died July 30, 1922 in Lanoke Co. (Coy is located in this
county). The record is found in Vol. 077, Certificate 01162. You can
Google the vital records for AR and find a form to complete to order a DC.
Don't know if this is your grandfather but hope he is.
CeCe
----- Original Message -----
From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com>
To: <AR-SAWMILLS-L@rootsweb.com>
Sent: Friday, February 01, 2008 2:58 PM
Subject: Re: [AR-SAWMILLS] Conway accident

> This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
>
> Author: bonnieand44
> Surnames: Hale
> Classification: queries
>
> Message Board URL:
>
> http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.occupations.arsawmills/88.1/mb.ashx
>
> Message Board Post:
>
> Sharon, if anyone writes to you with help that is good, please let me
> know.
