E. and N. L. Giles, was born in Drew Co., Ark., Jan 5, 1890, and died in Kingsland, Ark, Dec. 22, 1894, after twelve hours intense suffering caused by a fatal burn. Thought the little one had lived with loved ones less than five years, yet she had won the love and admiration of many, and was the lovely object of the tenderest affections of friends and relatives. Her little spirit has flown "to the God who gave it," and to whom she had been dedicated by baptism in infancy. God bless the friends and relatives and may they meet the dear one gone. By: R. It "appears" that perhaps it was located on the Saline in Cleveland Co. I know that stave bolts were cut there in the early 1900s. In an article appearing in the Eagle Dem [Warren] it states that tthe bluff was likely named after John Tucker. He married Mary Sneed in 1854 in Carroll Co, TN. Children on the 1860 Dallas Co, ARK census are Thomas, Susan, Mary, Hardy (James Hardy), Emily, Adaline, Melissa and Henry.
