Hi Members sometime over the weekend something either happened at roots web or one of the big servers which I'm not able to find out, but on Sunday night when I come home their must have been about 40 odd members from different list who had been unsubscribed from lists.

Now everyone is thinking it was me!

Sorry you all should know by now, it is very rear I ever un-sub anyone with out notice!
So if you know anyone who might have slipped of the lists or a friend could you just ask them to re-subscribe please as their were far too many to do on Sunday night and it would not have worked as the computer back at rootsweb would have spat the dummy again.

Regards,
Ray.
List Admin.

Hi Barbara,
Don't know whether you are interested in going this far, but, there is a business located in Melbourne that sells authentic Australian Newspapers back to about 1905. My wife was born in 1951 and I purchased a genuine copy of the Sydney Morning Herald for her 50th Birthday. I just had a look on thier website and they have quite a few copies available for August 1933, but I did not have the date of your Mums birthday. Here is the website if you would like to look for yourself. It is called Paperworld.
http://www.paperworld.com.au/index.php
Sounds like Mum is going to have a fun 75th Birthday. Good Luck with it.
Cheers
Grayeme

Hello Barbara,
The easiest way I can think of, is to go to the State Library, and
view/print out a copy of one of the newspapers for that day.
The newspapers carry advertisements for all those things you are
wanting. It would also be nice for your mum to have a copy of the front
page of the newspaper for the day she was born.....
Regards,
Gail

Barbara wrote:
> Hi,
>
> This is the first time I have posted to this list, and I am needing a bit of
> help.
