If it was very underpowered it <BR>would have been the Champion model.<BR>Very reliable and good mileage though.<BR>Overdrives now days are automatic.<BR>In those days, for overdrive you had to pull a handle. What year Studebaker did you have?<BR>Your friend probably was in the Studebaker Drivers Club.<BR>I was a member from 67 till about 77 when I sold my first Studebaker. Then I <BR>rejoined about 1997.<BR>I found this car through the Club.
