Just found this obit and thought I would post it.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;--------------------------------&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Beatrice D. Born&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Beatrice D. Born, 82, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at the Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Funeral service will be on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at noon, at First Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam, with the Rev. Dr. Mark J. Molldrem officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens in the township of Trenton.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Beatrice was born the daughter of Louis and Dorothy (Voss) Luedtke on Sept. 19, 1925, in Juneau. She was a 1945 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. She was united in marriage to Aaron Born on May 22, 1948.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;She had been employed at the Stokely and Green Giant Canning Factory for many years. She had also been a cook at Cozy Counter Restaurant for 20 years. She was an active member of First Ev. Lutheran Church. Some of her church involvements include being a member of the Ladies Aid and a member of the Retirees of the church. She also had taught Sunday School at First Ev. Lutheran Church for over 30 years. She enjoyed her love of baking and mostly, she enjoyed sharing her treats with those she loved.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Beatrice is survived by her two sons, Allen (Sheri) Born, Beaver Dam, and Rick (June) Born, Beaver Dam; her daughter, Eileen (Rich) Burow, Bloomer, Wis.; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Troy) Kinjerski, Mark (fiancee Liberty Bell) Born, Michael (Jessica) Born, Dawn (Cory) Heigl, and Jeffrey (Anna) Born; eight great-grandchildren, Mariah and Megan Kinjerski, Alex and Tristan Heigl, Madeline, Aimee and Christopher Born and Emily Rose Born; and her sister-in-law, Ramona (Hilmer) Abel, Juneau. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aaron in 1982, and her brother, Robert in 1957.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Memorials may be directed to First Ev. Lutheran Church Radio Fund or to the Sunday School program.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Beatrice was deeply loved and will be missed by all her family and friends.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Koepsell Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 109 N. Moye&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Rosetta Elizabeth Moye, daughter of Frank and Josie Stanfill Born was born December 2, 1894 on a farm in Graham County, Kansas and passed away at her home in Lenora, Kansas on September 15, 1984 at the age of 89 years, 9 months, and 13 days.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;She attended rural grade school in Graham County.  She moved to Lenora to attend high school and after high school she taught at Union School.  On April 5, 1919, Rosetta and Duey Moye were married at Lenora.  They lived all of their married life in the Lenora community.  Mr. Moye passed away in 1956.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;She was an active member of the Lenora United Parish Church and the Lenora O.E.S. Chapter No. 296.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Nelda and Ray Shoemaker, truth or Consequences, New Mexico; one granddaughter and her husband Rose Mary and James Scartaccini, Cliff, New Mexico; one great-granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth Scartaccini; one brother and his wife, Francis and Marie Born, Hill City, Kansas; other relatives and many friends.  &#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Important Note:&#x3C;BR&#x3E;The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. He attended the rural grade schools and the Hays Normal Training School.  On April 1, 1917, Earl and Edith Belle Seltzer were married at the home of the bride&#x27;s parents at Morland, Kansas.  They farmed in Graham County until 1937 when they moved to Morland and to Lenora in 1937 where they had lived since.  Mrs. Born passed away November 29, 1876.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;He attended the Lenora United Parish Church and was a member of the Lenora I.O.O.F. I finally discovered that her parents were Peter and Anna Kessler.  Alice was born Feb 8, 1881 in Elida Ohio and died May 7, 1971 in Kenton Ohio.  I have no information about her before she married my grandpa Emil Born.  Any information would be greatly appreciated. Buried Canaan Moravian Cemetery near Davenport, Cass Co., ND&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;married to Johann Wilhelm E.&#x22;William&#x22; Hoehne - b. 9 Oct 1816; d. 16 Mar 1886 Bethany, Winona Co., MN. Buried Bethany Cemetery, Utica TWP, Winona Co. MN&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;1900 census Cass Co., ND widow Emilie Hoehna was living with daughter Augusta Lebus and stated that she had given birth to 9 children but only 4 were still living.&#x3C;BR&#x3E;&#x3C;BR&#x3E;Augusta Hoehne, he daughter of &#x22;William&#x22; and &#x22;Emilie&#x22; Hoehne married Theodore Lebus.
