I am searching for anything on the origins of my great-great grandmother Mary Jane Bourn who was 17 in 1850 and living possibly with her parents William Bourn, 82, and Lydia Bourn, 50, in August 1850. Other members of her family were Sally, 36, Fanny A, 32, and Daniel, 27.
There are many descendants of Francis Bourn(e), Revolutionary war soldier
from Virginia, who are named Ambrose. I am wondering where the Ambrose name
in your email came from. I have the family information if you can match
something up.
