[BREMER] BRAND Family Photograph with connection to BREMER Family

I've "rescued" an old photograph of Dan BRAND which was taken at the Spalt
Studio in Seattle, Washington. The photograph appears to have been taken in
the 1890's with Dan likely in his 30's or 40's at the time. Based on
limited research I was able to locate a possible match through census
records, as follows:

1910 census of Everett, WA:

Daniel BRAND, age 50, born Switzerland, parents born Switzerland, to USA
1883, a Laborer

Mary BRAND, Mother, age 78, a widow, born Switzerland, parents born
Switzerland, to USA 1883

Katherine BRAND, Sister, age 36, born Switzerland, parents born Switzerland,
to USA 1883

Mary BREMER, niece, age 6, born WA, parents born Germany/Switzerland

1920 census of Welangdon, WA:

Dan BRAND, age 61, born Switzerland, to USA 1883, parents born Switzerland,
a Farmer

Mary BRAND, Mother, age 88, born Switzerland, to USA 1884, parents born
Switzerland

Kathryn BRAND, Sister, age 42, born Switzerland, to USA 1884, parents born
Switzerland

Mary BREMER, niece, age 15, born WA, parents born Germany/Switzerland

I'm hoping to locate someone from this BRAND Family so that this wonderful
old photograph can be returned to the care of his family. If you are a
member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me.

Thanks,

Shelley

Philip Bremer maried Harriett Ransier, 20 Mar 1847, in Linn County, IA

I do not have a BREMER connection, but recently acquired an
old frame, and included was a small oval picture (3 1/2" x
5")of this couple, in older age. On the back of the picture
is two newspaper articles where they were celebrating their
60th wedding anniversary, having been pioneers in Iowa,
Nebraska, Idaho, and ultimately in "Palouse section of
Washington near Pullman," and last moved to "Clarkston."
Bremer was a Civil War Veteran. The picture was later
inscribed to "Mrs. Delia CULLERS from Uncle George."

I joined this List, only to pass this info (and picture) on
to someone who might descend from this couple and might like
to have same? Since I will be shortly (a matter of hours at
the most) resigning from this List, please contact me off
list at
< fetters@bright.net >.

Thank you, and hope someone can use this picture.

Robert A. "Bob" Fetters
Chillicothe,OH
