Ned") Brimer (1837-1921). These men lived in Worcester County, MD, just outside Snow Hill. Were watermen. Capt. Ned married Nancy C. Jones. Levi married Sarah Amelia ("Meta") Conner. Whereas Meta's families go back to the 17th century in what was then Somerset County, the Brimers "just appear" in the mid-1800s. I'm wondering from where.

Important Note:
The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I have never been sure where exactly they came from. All I had was that J.C. and S. Brimer came to Texas from Alabama, and that they had A.Beecham Brimer, Richard Monroe Brimer, Walton and Wilton Brimer, Lou Brimer, S.J. Brimer. In your question about who Nora married...1900 census for Texas Rains county shows that Brimer, Walter (think should be Walton) aged 20 was born in Texas Feb. 1880, Wife was Nora age 20 born in Texas Oct. 1879, son Earl H. Born in Texas 1899. That should be your line...right? There is another spot where it shows that A. B. Brimer, age 30, born Alabama, wife was Marie, age 24 born Texas, and a "sister" Ross age 2 born Texas..this was for Angeline County 1900's. Don't know if that is our A.B. Brimer or not. HOpe this helps with who Nora belonged to. Our side of the family had no clue as to the "name" of J.C. only his initials. If you have somehting to go on, good luck. I will try to help best I can. D!
o you have membership to Ancestry?

We also heard that J.C. Brimer died in Rains from wagon accident. Richard Monroe Brimer (J.C.'s second son) was the father to Onie Brimer (my father n law). After, my father n law passed away, my mother n law remarried... Walton was Roe's brother. Walton's daughter (name?) married Anton Fischer. They had a son named Albert Fischer...whom my mother n law married. He became my husband's step-father. So, where do you descend from on Walton's side, and do you know about Wilton?

Tricia Brimer
plbrimer@swbell.net

Important Note:
The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
