This came on on one of my NY-Lists, but has a CA reference. Does
anyone have a connection? It has been sent to the NJ-Monmouth,
NJ-Essex rootsweb lists, also NY- Hudson, NY-Irish, lists. You may
want to pass it on to other lists The original sender said she knew
nothing about this photo, but to reply to the sender who had sent it
to the Essex list.
In AlterNet today:
http://www.alternet.org/healthwellness/111030/ Yes, I'm a hoarder:
family papers, books, mementos, and treasures . Who will keep them if
I don't? Yet it's a problem for us, isn't it? What to keep? What to
let go? Sometimes writing a family tale about a memento can ease the
pain of getting rid of it.

Jean

Regarding the Thompson d.c., a request to the county usually yields a much
quicker result than to the state.

Lee
**************Make your life easier with all your friends, email, and
favorite sites in one place.

Could someone please guide me in locating information on these early families in Pasadena. I have Rev. Luther & Amy Gordon with their family. Children were William b 1861 In/Iowa; Olive Deborah 1864 In. she married Charles David Wilson b Iowa, (Wilson is my line); Caroline b 1867 m Foster; Lucy b 1871 m. Adams; Anna 1874 m. Pelton; John Luther B 1878, d 1969, Palmdale CA.
I found 1891 LA Times notification of marriage license of Olive & Charles Wilson, states they are both of Pasadena. I find them 1900 census's, Charles is alone in 1930 and I found a death index d. Apr 1956. I've attempted to get obituaries before but unsucessful. I would appreciate any suggestions on acquiring them.
Viola
