Londonderry, Northern Ireland http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/CLAN-CRAWFORD/2007-03/1173913308 A lot of Crawfords went from Scotland to Ireland in the early 1600's and generally moved to the Fermanagh area in Northern Ireland, or Ulster. This is our family line as well, but I don't have any actual records of anyone earlier than 1790. I think it would take a trip to Ireland for that. I too had a great great great grandfather William Crawford and I don't know where he lived exactly except probably in Northern Ireland, since that is where his sons were born.
