I have been researching Clanin's for over 10 years and have a lot of the ohio/indiana clanins info and some illinois (woodford co. area) I am descended through Benjamin, Samuel, Rubin, William S., George W., Clifford(age 96 and still living) and my mom Faye deceased. I may be slow to respond through this list, I don't check it too often anymore. With the holidays approaching I can't promise a quick reply but will try to help if i can. Thanks so much for the update. I had corresponded with Jim on numerous occasions and bought one of his "books" on the Clanin family. I had wondered what had happened to him. I'm sorry for your loss. My grandfather is Clifford C. Clanin b may 12, 1912,(George and Mary Clanin, William and Charlotte Clannin, Reuben and Mary Clannin, Samuel and Hannah Clannin, Benjamin and Mary Clannin) he is still living and has full mental and most physical faculties intact. He'll be 96 this year. He helps from time to time with a lot of Indiana and Illinois family stories. Illinois and where he is buried. But no clue where Mary and George brown are buried or when died. Any help dearly appreciated!
