When I look at it, I pronounce it like Dow. Or is it like CLOUGH and pronounced both ways perhaps. Just curious! My branch has a close DNA match in PEI (Prince Edward Island) with CLOW. My maiden name is CLUFF pronounced like enough of course. I don't believe CLUFF is pronounced any other way, is it...? Thanks!
