I especially need info on Mamie Abernathy; (alternative names: Myrtle Annie LEACH, her maiden name and Mamie is her nickname). She married Louis, (Lew, Lewis) Ellis ABERNATHY 26 APR 1910 in Jackson, Kansas City, Kansas. And info on Louis Abernathy and their children. he is not with them in 1930 but in Idaho, divorced. Many were looking to regain their health in the clean Colorado air. This book makes for very interesting reading if your family was in Logan County, Colorado from 1907 on. This book tells the real life story of life there. According to the newspaper he was buried in Riverside Cemetery in Sterling. As of now we have not been able to locate his grave site in Sterling. We also are curious as to what happened to the land he owned. That information about the location of the land is on the Bureau of Land Management site. I did check the train investigation site link that has been shared and did not find any information. Thanks for your help.
