I have purchased an address on the 1911 census & it gives so much more info it helped me get my grandfather back & with that info got back to the early 1800s so while it did cost it helped me a lot but couldn't afford to do it for the rest so i guess it wait for what another 9 months or there abouts unless they fall behind, i mean it not very often these projects get released earlier than expected date but can be late Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 'Find my past' now say that the 1911 census will be up and running 'in spring 2009' and will be available'on a strictly pay per view basis', presumably whether you are a subscriber or not. Scotland does not plan to release the information until 2011. Some of the individual data will not be released early because it bis considered personally sensitive. The full information will be available in 2011/2012. The interim version will be available in 2009 through http://www.findmypast.com .This will provide an online service enabling researchers anywhere in the world to search and download digitial scans of images from the census. As far as I know 'Ancestry' hasn't said whether it will have the census earlier than 2011. I have used 'find my past' but found it less comprehensive than 'ancestry', also 'find my past' haven't said that their standard subscription will cover the new census, it might be that you have to take their (expensive) subscription and then pay extra for the 1911 census. They have said that they will start to publish in 1910, one year earlier than the 100 year rule. It wont all be published in 1910 but a good portion thereof.
