Her mother was Margaret Winchester (1766 to 9/13/1863) daughter of Elizabeth Notherman (1740-1797) and William Winchester (1726-6/14/1785). Elizabeth Notherman, d/o John Georg (1700) and Mary Notherman (Germany). William Winchester was the son of Sarah Meconikin and John Winchester. If Alice was related to John Yeamans, it was through marriage. According to the official records in Barbados, Tilney Coachman married MRS. Alice Yeamans. He migrated north to Monroe County, PA. Would be interested in sharing information on the family. Did find an interesting extra bit on the patriarch John Yeamans -- he was evidently married first to a woman named Sarah. This marriage was dissolved by an act of the Maryland legislature before he was able to marry Mary Grant. I do think the Margaret Yeamans/Charles Wilmerton link looks like a genuine connection to this particular family.
