Martin and John Smith, brothers from Jonesboro, Georgia, enlisted in Co F, 2nd Regt Ga Cavalry. I have been to the National Archives and found cards tracing their captivities in different prison camps (Rock Island and Camp Morton). Would the Georgia Archives have anything that the National Archives wouldn't have? I can't find much information on the 2nd Regt Ga Cav on the web. Can anyone direct me? Thanks.
