My great, great uncle Bob is mentioned in several letters that Bunting and Ross wrote . These letters are posted on Troy Groves web sight. He was severely wounded at Farminton and left with a family to recover. He made it back to Texas ultimately. I wonder if it is possible that records exist as to the name of this family and any information on how he got home. Any help would be greatly appreciated. He was shot in the hip and the wound never completely healed. Doubt he just rode a horse back home.
