What do y'all think about starting a List to get help with saving cemeteries
via the internet?
What would we call it? Maybe just "Help Saving Cemeteries"?
How about AAUGGH....
Abandoned And Unwanted Graveyards, Genealogists, Historians
It would be a List for everyone to go for help via the Rootsweb community.
I could give tips on ....now what did that twit on Freemasons List say......
oh yeah .."hurling insults and accusations."
We could share how to get the TV station involved...oops I mean ...."And
remember that KSAT must prove to the FCC periodically that they are serving
the public interest with their cheap yellow journalism. They have used you
as much as you think you have used them."
We could give each other moral support when we feel we may be getting a tad
pushy. "Please do trust Maria on this, and back off. She is a long-time
political operative, and knows how to work the city government from every
angle, inside and out. You've made your point. Please don't become
counter-productive to your own intentions now."
Jan in California can be the person to plan the Special Work Days. She has
great tips. ;-)
We could provide sample letters and help each other find email addresses.

Dear Mr. President,
This isn't a letter to you as President of the United States (altho that may
be a plus when you write the Masons for me ;-) . This is a letter to you as
the most powerful Texan I know. Excuse me for writing you at work..........
Somebody else has to be Listmaster, I don't do well with that, I was a
substitute Listmaster for Don Perkins once and it is horrid. Anyway, spread
the word, see if any other lists would like to get involved. Please don't
use my name on the London, Northumberland or Durham Lists ...it will be
counterproductive to our intentions.
