My name is Jo B. Dorame . My gggrandmother was Sarah Abercrombie, born Oct.1, 1795 in South carolina. She died Sept. 5, 1861 in Grayson Co., Texas. She married my paternal gggrandfather William "Panther Bill" Burleson Occt. 5, 1818 in Jefferson Co. Alabama. this couple had 10 children at least. It may have been 12 with 8 surviving to adulthood. My ggrandfather was one of these children. He was timothy Alfred Burleson , born Jan. 1, 1823 in Alabama. He died March 23, 1907 in Grayson Co., texas. He married Mary "Polly" Holcomb in 1846 in Marion Co. Alabama.

I have info on their other children, but nothing more on Sarah's parents or ancestors.

Any help would be appreciated.
