Thanks to all who have written and with whom I now have at least a little
in common. Special thanks to David Whyte for his lengthy description.
Unfortunately, My relatives (Kenneth Anderson and family ) moved there from
Alford after 1852, but were living there in 1854 when son Donald was born,
so census lookups are not possible.

I learned more about Causewayend than I ever thought possible.
