I also have an interest in the surname TOUGH.

I have a Mary TOUGH christened 05 January 1825 at Little Eggie, Belhelvie,
ABD. Mary was the daughter of James TOUGH & Barbara ROFS (ROSS). Mary
married William KEMP at Belhelvie on 22 November 1846.

My resaerch thus far has not led me to Mary's siblings or any details of
her parents, aside from their marriage at Belhelvie on 10 December 1820.

Dec 9 1870 in Gartly. His wife was Margaret ?? surname unknown.
Children were Gordon, Anna and Marguerite. I have quite a lot of info on
David's siblings, but none on him or his wife and family. I understand
that he was a stone mason and he came to the US (New York state) at some
point. His parents were Hugh Robertson and Ann Hay.
