hello all
Yesterday I just received my Banks/Pennycuick Proclamtions of Banns &
Marriages dated
Feb.1853, from the Parish of Lhanbryde, County of Elgin.
I was much dissappointed, as it gave me no real information that i didnt
already have.
Can anyone explain why I have only received this, and not a full marriage
certificate with the bride and grooms parents, along with their occupations.
Could it be that the originals no longer exsist, or have Scot Origins messed
up the certificate that they have sent me ???
Also is there anyone out there with access to the 1851 census, that would be
willing to look up
Robert Banks (born 1831) and Isabella Pennycuick (born 1833) . Isabellas
parents MAY?? be Benjiumin Pennycuick and Catherine Mitchell..
