Hi , i am new to the list although i have possibly had a few questions
answered by some of you on other lists..
Our grandfather was born we believe in CASTLE HILL BARRACKS in Aberdeen..I
have been told that this area was / is called CASTLEGATE..I am wondering if
anyone has any good information on the barracks etc...I believe there was a
hospital on the barracks but wether he was born there is another story..
The name is VANDERSLUYS...He was born in 1897C..
Does anyone have any access to the census to look for the family for me
please or access to the electoral rolls....I can not find them on the 1881
census but i believe they should be on the 1891 census...
The fathers name is CHARLES CALEB and the mother is LETITTIA nee AYERS..
the children were Florence,Grace,Elizabeth and Charles...
