Surname: Murray, Tindall, Young, Reid, Charmichael

My name is Merryl murray and live in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. My ancestors
arrived in Australia around 1823/24 from Edinburgh, Scotland. I and my
sister have been researching our family tree and have come to a halt in
the information that we can find. I know that my ancestors were cousins
to the Duke of Atholl and the Duke of Buccluegh but I cannot find the link.
I am wondering if anyone could give me any information, or give me any
hints as to finding those missing links. Here is a brief view of my ancestors.

Thomas Murray (Laird of Aberdeenshire),(direct ancestor) Married: 1750
circa, to Jean Tindall.
Child 1. Thomas
Child 2. William
Child 3. Hugh (my direct ancestor)
Child 4. Isabella
These children were cousins to the Duke of Atholl (3rd or 4th?) and the
Duke of Buccluegh (3rd?)

Hugh Murray, Married: 1782 to Anne Young (her father was Thomas Young and
Writer to the Signet.)
Child 1. Margaret
Child 2. Thomas
Child 3. David m. Marion Charmichael (my direct ancestor)
Child 4. Hugh
Child 5. Elizabeth
Child 6. Anabella m. James Reid (my direct ancestor)

David, Hugh and Anabella came to Tasmania/Australia in the early 1820's.
I would appreciate it if you could help me in any way with finding the
missing links.
